Jan 13th

What Mark evocatively calls "Jersey cathedrals". I'm not so good at black and white, but in this case, I think B & W was a great choice. Taken from the Jersey turnpike today on the way home.

Jan 12

Rowan, looking all little in the great big gym in front of the judges, getting ready to do the floor routine.

Jan 11

The Staten Island ferry, taken from the ferry, on our way into the city. Really like this one.

Jan 10

Grouchy Rocko, our poor neglected cat whose bad attitude makes her tough to photo.

Jan 9th

We made fudge while studying igneous rock in science. Gotta love that!

We're back in business- Jan 8th!

It was 70 plus degrees today- stopped for lunch outside at a park on the way to Spanish class.

Well, crap

I seem to have hit a little snafu with this whole "Photo a Day" concept.

My camera battery recharger is either a)in St Louis or b) somewhere in my minefield ofa scrapbook room, despite having looked 90 gazillion times. Have I mentioned I HATE packing/unpacking/hauling crap half way across the country!?????

Camera is quite dead.

Gotta get one tomorrow, then charge it, so...guess we'll be missing a few days.

Jan 4th

I see people do this all the time- the photo-in-the-mirror thing. Much harder than it looks! Took 200, most are as crappy as this one, LOL. Hard to focus on my face, when not looking! I gave up- the results will (hopefully) be in a semi-creative header for this blog soon...

Jan 3rd

Played with the Eyeclops today in science.

Jan 5

Bad picture, cute puppy.

Jan 2nd

Found this propped up against the wall under the table today- too cute. Love the little signs of Rowan.

What the Heck is This?

Its a new blog, because as you all know, I am fairly bored out of my skull with all the free time I have. Why not add yet another project?

Seriously though, I have seen and admired those who participated in the Project 365 on Flickr.com. Go here to see what I mean: http://flickr.com/search/?q=Project%20365&w=all

Cool, huh? And a group on my favorite website Two Peas in a Bucket assigned themes to each week, assigments of sorts. I just couldn't resist!

Watch this spot, and hopefully ,there will be a new photo every day...all year. This year looks to be a pretty exciting one, what with the upcoming move to Jolly Old England (waaahhooooooo!) so there ought to be some fun things to document along the way.
